A Pilgrims Rest Wedding - 11 Apr 18

Rebeccas bouquet -  a wonderful cascading mix of Roses, Feverfew, Wax flower, Eryngium, and foliage, reflected in the buttonholes and corsages, and all tied with twine.  Lemon yellow Ranunculus was used for the little buttonholes for the children.
Rebecca and Toby wanted plenty of foliage dressing the venue, The Pilgrims' Rest in Battle, a wonderful Tudor building right next to Battle Abbey.

A rustic flower cascade was hung above the long tables in the dining hall, in flowers matching Rebeccas bouquet, amongst hanging candle lanterns.  Runners of fresh foliage Ivy, Ruscus and Rosemary ran along the centre of the tables, between the tall candle stands and cut glass decanters of wine.

In the Ceremony room, foliage was draped down the staircase, and around the doorway to the Bar.
Pretty bunches of flowers were tied to the chairs, and Ivy hung from the two chandeliers.

A blazing log fire added a warm and cosy feel to the rooms, along with lovely fluffy sheepskin rungs on the benches.
